CAREER SUMMARY
- Brett Arnold joined the Penn State Football program in May 2023 as the Associate Director of Player Advancement & Rev Share, where he helps lead the program’s NIL and revenue-sharing initiatives.
- In his role, Arnold works closely with student-athletes, agents, donors and external partners to facilitate NIL opportunities, support player development, and enhance the program’s overall external engagement.
- Before returning to the Big Ten, Arnold served as the Associate Athletic Director and General Manager of Football Operations at the University of Delaware from 2022–23. In this capacity, he oversaw all operational, administrative, and logistical aspects of the football program while advising the Head Coach on roster management, staffing, and program development.
- Arnold arrived in State College following two seasons in his second stint at Rutgers University, where he served as the Director of Football Administration for the Scarlet Knights.
- He was also a member of the Rutgers staff from 2012–16 as the Director of Internal Football Operations, collaborating with the chief of staff and head coach to oversee the program’s operating budget, travel logistics, and day to day operation of the program.
- From 2017–19, Arnold was the Director of Football Operations at Sam Houston State. During his tenure with the Bearkats, he helped manage staffing, roster development, and overall program strategy while overseeing team travel and game scheduling. Sam Houston State posted winning records in each of his three seasons, highlighted by a 12-2 campaign and an appearance in the FCS semifinals in 2017.
- Before his time in operations, Arnold worked in ticket sales and revenue generation for Temple University Athletics / IMG College (2011–12) and the Philadelphia Eagles (2010–11). He began his career in college athletics at the University of Delaware, serving as a football operations assistant during the 2009 season.
- Arnold earned his bachelor’s degree in social science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2009. As a standout punter for the Minutemen, he led the FCS in punting average as a senior and earned First Team All-America honors.
