Carrie Sexton begins her first season as an assistant coach with the Penn State women's golf team in 2022-23. Prior to coming to Happy Valley she spent the past 17 years as a professional caddie and personal assistant on the LPGA and Legends Tour.
Most notably, Sexton has been the personal caddie for Rosie Jones on the Legends Tour and was on the bag for each of Jones' nine Legends Tour victories including most recently at the 2019 BJ's Charity Championship.
Sexton also assisted Jones in the lengthy planning process for the 2011 Solheim Cup while also managing and assisting the 12 LPGA professionals who comprised the 2011 United States Team captained by Jones.
Along with being a professional golf caddie working out of Hilton Head, South Carolina, Sexton assisted in the planning and execution of the Judson Collegiate Invitational and Legends Pro-AM for the past five years.
From 2006-2015, Sexton also worked as an event planner for Rosie Jones Golf Getaways planning vacations for women to Scotland, Ireland, Pebble Beach and many other golf destinations.
A native of Syracuse, New York, Sexton, played collegiate softball at SUNY Oswego while earning her Bachelor's Degree in political science.
