Clark is in his second season as an assistant coach for the Nittany Lion women[apos]s tennis team. He came to Happy Valley after nearly a year as the program manager for junior competition and junior development at the United State Tennis Association[apos]s (USTA) Missouri Valley Section.
In his role as the program manager for junior competition and junior development at the USTA Missouri Valley Section, Clark was responsible for overseeing and coordinating the junior competition circuit. Prior to his stint with the USTA, Clark was the director of junior development at Woodside Health and Tennis Club, where he oversaw all aspects of junior tennis instruction. He also interned for U.S. Representative Sam Graves of Missouri in Washington, D.C.
Clark was a member of the UMKC men[apos]s tennis team for three seasons, earning first team All Mid-Continent Conference honors in 2003 and second team all-league accolades in 2004. Clark was also on the 2005 University of Arkansas men[apos]s tennis team.
As a high school player in Springfield, Missouri, Clark won the Missouri State Class 4A singles title in 2002 with a perfect 31-0 record. He was also voted the Kansas City Star Tennis Male Athlete of the Year in 2002 for the Kansas City Metro Area.
Clark received his bachelor[apos]s degree in Psychology from UMKC in 2006.
