Heidi Erb is in her 8th season supporting the Penn State Football program.
Erb joined Penn State Football in a full-time capacity in June 2019 & currently serves as the Director of Internal Operations & Head Coach Logistics.
In her role, Erb assists with team travel logistics, including the flight charter, team meals & post-season planning. Erb also oversees planning for various staff & player events throughout the year. Erb serves as the point of contact for the Head Coach, overseeing all aspects of the Head Coach’s daily operations, business & recruiting travel, & internal/external presentations. Erb also oversees transcript evaluations of prospective student-athletes & incoming student-athlete NCAA Eligibility.
Before being named to her current title in June 2025, Erb served as the Executive Assistant To The Head Coach from 2021 to 2025 & the Assistant Recruiting Coordinator for Operations & Visits from 2019 to 2021. During her time in recruiting, Erb assisted in planning gameday, unofficial & official visits, built relationships with prospective student-athletes & their families, oversaw the student internship program & planned summer football camps.
Erb was recognized nationally in 2023, being named to the NFL Women’s Forum, an invite-only event recognizing female leaders in college football.
Erb graduated from Penn State in 2019 after working with the program for two years serving as an Operations Assistant, directly supporting the Director of Football Operations. During this time, Erb assisted in managing Teamworks, facility construction projects & team travel logistics.
A native of Halifax, PA, Erb earned a degree in Recreation, Park & Tourism Management & a Smeal Fundamentals of Business Certificate from the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University.
