Josh Hand was named the Penn State men[apos]s hockey team[apos]s volunteer assistant coach on July 17, 2012.
Hand served in the same capacity for Penn State[apos]s top club team in 2011-12 and, in 2010-11, worked as the team[apos]s assistant coach.
Prior to joining the Penn State staff, Hand spent two seasons (2008-10) as assistant coach and hockey director for Texas A&M[apos]s club hockey program. In 2009-10, Hand helped lead the Aggies to the school[apos]s first-ever berth in the ACHA regional tournament.
A 2008 graduate of Concordia, Hand played men[apos]s hockey and football and was a Dallas Stars rookie camp attendee.
