Kristina Jeffries joined the Penn State Athletic Performance staff in August of 2014 and was promoted to Associate Director of Athletic in August of 2025. During her time at Penn State, Jeffries has worked with multiple teams including Track and Field and Men’s Soccer. Currently she is the Athletic Performance Coach for Men’s and Women’s Hockey.
Jeffries arrived at Penn State after serving as an Assistant Performance Enhancement Coach at Vanderbilt University, where she worked with Women's Soccer, Women's Tennis as well as Men's and Women's Golf (2011-14). Prior to her time a Vanderbilt, Jeffries was a Graduate Assistant at Tennessee State University where she was solely responsible for Women's Basketball, Women's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Golf, and assisted with Football and Women's Track and Field (2008-2011).
During her career, Jeffries has helped mentally and physically develop over 30 student-athletes to post-collegiate careers in their sport, including seven MLS Draft Picks, five Olympians, two Women’s World Cup Soccer Players and Two NFL athletes.
The Buffalo, W.V. native graduated from the University of Findlay in 2008, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Strength and Conditioning and an Associate's of Arts Degree in Personal Training prior to completing her Master of Education in Human Performance and Sports Science (2011).
Jeffries is a Master Strength and Conditioning Coach (MSCC), and certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (CSCS), Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) and is Advance Olympic Lifting Certified (AOLC).
Jeffries and her wife Tabitha live in State College.
