Dr. Philip Bosha received his doctorate from MCP-Hahnemann (Drexel) School of Medicine in 2000. He completed a residency in family medicine at Hamot Medical Center 2000-2003. In addition, he completed a fellowship in primary care sports medicine at Methodist Hospitals of Dallas 2003-2004. For the last 16 years he has served as team physician for Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, as well as providing sports medicine care to the State College community. He is the current program director for the Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship Program and is the Site Director at the University Park Regional Campus for 4th Year College of Medicine medical student’s completing an elective rotation in sports medicine. Bosha holds a CAQ in Sports Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine in addition to being certified as a Medical Review Officer allowing him to oversee student-athlete drug testing. He has a special interest in musculoskeletal ultrasound as a diagnostic tool to diagnosis and treat patients.
