Each year, The Brand Academy hosts two flagship events in The Brand Academy Summit (fall semester) and the Lions to Leaders Symposium (spring semester).
The Brand Academy Summit is an educational event for Penn State student-athletes to gain essential skills and uncover resources to manage and monetize their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). Breakout session topics include: financial competency, social media management, brand building strategy, legal and licensing, and entrepreneurial mindset.
The Lions to Leaders Symposium is an educational networking event to connect student-athletes with successful student-athlete alums. The Lions to Leaders Symposium features a panel discussion and an interactive Q&A session of former student-athletes who have not only carved their paths as entrepreneurs, but also as impactful philanthropists. Through their personal stories, the panelists will offer invaluable insights into the strategies they employed to build and preserve their personal brands in the competitive landscape of sports and entrepreneurship.
