The Lady Lions are 14-17 all-time against Purdue, but lead the series in Big Ten games by a 13-11 margin. PSU is just 4-10 all-time in West Lafayette. The Boilermakers have won the last three meetings in the series.

Last time out, Illinois converted on back-to-back three-point plays and iced the game with perfect free throw shooting in the final two minutes to hand Penn State a heartbreaking 74-65 overtime loss. The Lady Lions had a balanced attack as eight players scored in the game, led by junior guard Kam Gissendanner??s (Clairton, Pa.) season-high 18 points. Senior post player Amanda Brown (Kennett Square, Pa.) notched her fourth double-double of the season with 10 points and 16 rebounds, while freshman guard Tyra Grant (Youngstown, Ohio) was the third Lady Lion in double figures with 14 tallies.

Brown ranks in the top 15 in the Big Ten conference in scoring (13.5), rebounding (9.4), blocks (23), field goal percentage (.552) and free throw percentage (.772). Grant is also averaging double figures in the scoring column at a 12.3 per game clip, while sophomore guard Brianne O??Rourke (Pittsburgh, Pa.) surpassed the 300-point plateau for her career with seven points in the overtime loss to Illinois.

The Boilermakers, ranked 13th in both the AP and Coaches polls, are 12-2 overall and 1-0 in conference play this season.
