Meet the instructors
Denise St. Pierre is in her 20th year as head coach of the Penn State Lady Lions Golf Team after serving five years as an assistant coach for the men's and women's teams. In 1992, she was recognized as the East Regional coach of the year. Her teams as well as individual players have qualified to play at the NCAA regional and national championships. Denise started her career with the Lady Lions as a player and is a 1983 PSU alumna. Denise is a Class A member of the PGA and director of Penn State golf instruction. Denise was selected as one of Golf for Women's top 50 instructors. Additionally, she was chosen to coach US Women's teams at the US vs. Japan Tournament in 1999 and the 2004 and 2006 World University Games in Thailand and Italy, respectively. Denise has been involved at an administrative level with the National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA). Having previously served as secretary and chair of the NCGA education committee, she was elected by her peers to serve as President of the NCGA from 2004-2006.
Greg Nye is in his 14th year as head coach of the PSU Nittany Lion Men's Golf Team. Greg is a Class A member of the PGA. Greg has worked as a club professional, has coached men's and women's collegiate teams and is highly regarded by his peers as an accomplished instructor of the game. Greg is also an accomplished coach. He was the 1987 Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year and is a four-time NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Coach of the Year. The Nittany Lion Men's Golf Team finished 15th nationally during the 2003-2004 season. Greg is a graduate of the College of Wooster. While at Wooster, he was a four-time All-American and a member of Wooster's National Golf Championship Team.

Penn State Golf Facilities
The University's two eighteen-hole golf courses are the keystones of one of the largest public golf facilities in Pennsylvania. The Blue Course (par 72, 6545 yds) is designed for tournament play while the White Course (par 72, 6344 yds) features a design suited to the amateur golfer. A newly renovated practice range and short game area will provide a unique learning environment.
Lady Lion Golf Schools
"For women- taught by women"
A unique offering for women is the Lady Lion Golf School. This school is designed to focus on the unique world of women in golf and provides the opportunity to network with women who either play golf or want to learn to play golf. The teaching staff includes former Nittany Lion Head Coach Mary Kennedy-Zierke. Mary was selected by Golf for Women Magazine as a top 50 golf instructor.
Registration
The Nittany Golf Schools are open to everyone
The registration fee for members of the PSU Alumni Association is $550. The fee for other participants is $600. Your registration fee covers all instruction, greens fees, carts, program materials, video analysis of your swing, and refreshments. Registrants are responsible for all meals and lodging. Early registration is encouraged as school enrollment is limited to 18 participants. Registrants will receive a letter of acknowledgment, travel directions, lodging and restaurant information and additional school information.
