HANAHAN, S.C. - The Nittany Lions fell three spots from 16th place in the first round to 19th place after round two of the Cougar Classic. The team shot 327 on day two, giving Penn State a two-round score of 53-over 629.
Sophomore Katherine Murphy shot five-over 77, three strokes over her score from the first round. Murphy leads the team with a two-round score of 151. Senior Christin Pacacha is four strokes behind with a score of 155.
Tennessee shot par in both round one and round two and is first place with a score of 576. Individually, the tournament is led by So-Hyun Park of Notre Dame.
The third and final round of the Cougar Classic will take place on Tuesday, September 11.
