Nittany Lions Compete in Second-to-Last Fall Tournament

SAMMAMISH, Wash.- The Nittany Lions shot 331 in the first of three rounds of the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, putting the team in 16 th place out of the 16 teams competing.

Freshman Brianna Malcolmson leads the Nittany Lions with a score of nine-over 81. Senior Christin Pacacha follows only one stroke behind. The three other members of the team, Sara Lester, Megan Padua, and Katherine Murphy are close behind with scores of 84, 84, and 85, respectively.

The competition is led by Southern California with a score of eight-over 296. Individually, Southern California's Belen Mozo and Arizona's Anna Nordquist are tied for first place with scores of two-under 70.

Tee times for the second round begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9.
