Kids Take Over the BJC When the Lady Lions Host Wisconsin on Feb. 3

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Lady Lions (13-6, 4-3) will host their second annual Kids Day at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, February 3 when they take on Wisconsin at 2 p.m. Kids will have the opportunity to apply for the chance to get a behind the scenes look at Lady Lion game day.

Kids will have the opportunity to shadow one of the following positions: play-by-play radio announcer, director of basketball operations, events management, sports information, usher, public address announcer, cheerleader or band director.

Kids interested in participating in Kids Day need to send their entry in to Lady Lion Director of Basketball Operations Rachel Rito at rar240@psu.edu by Friday, Feb. 1. To be eligible, you must be in grades 1-8. Entries must include name, phone number, email address and which position you are most interested in shadowing. Winners will be notified on Saturday, Feb. 2.

Penn State is on the road at Wisconsin on Thursday, Jan. 24 and at nationally-ranked Ohio State on Monday, Jan. 28 at 7 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. The Lady Lions return home to face Wisconsin on Kids Day at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m.
