Greensboro, N.C.- After two rounds of the Bryan National Collegiate, the women's golf team remains in 18th place out of the 18 competing teams. The team shot 341, giving them a two-round score of 676.
Freshman Brianna Malcolmson improved her score by one stroke, giving her a two-round score of 167 and placing her in the lead for the Nittany Lions. Senior Christin Pacacha also improved by one stroke and is currently two strokes behind Malcolmson.
Duke continues to lead the competition. The team shot 16-over 304 and has a two-round score of 22-over 598. University of Florida is in second place, only one stroke behind Duke. Individually, Arkansas' Stacy Lewis is in first place with an impressive score of five-under 139. Steffi Kirchmayr of the College of Charleston, who led the tournament after the first round, fell to third place in round two.
The third and final round will be held on Sunday morning, March 30.
