July 16, 2008

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - STATE COLLEGE, Pa.; July 16, 2008 - Penn State Nittany Lion lacrosse recruit Steven Rastivo (South Setauket, N.Y.) was superb in goal during the second half of the Boys Under Armour All-America game this past weekend to lead the North team to a 13-12 win.

Rastivo, who will join Penn State this fall as a freshman, entered the game to start the second half with his team trailing by three. He held the South team to just one goal in the third quarter as the North team rallied to take a one-gal lead which it would ride to victory.

For the game, the Ward Melville High School graduate had nine saves, including the game-winner on the South's final shot from point blank range with just :40 left to play.
