UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State softball assistant coach Jocelyn Forest is leaving the program immediately due to the relocation of her fiance. Forest served as the pitching coach the last two seasons helping guide the team to a 60-47 record during her tenure.
"Jocelyn will be greatly missed," said head coach Robin Petrini. "She has been a tremendous asset to our program. We wish her all the best in her future."
Forest joined the staff in July of 2006 after serving one year as the assistant at Boston University. The search for a new assistant coach will begin immediately.
