The Penn State women's golf team will head to Princeton, N.J. this weekend to take part in the Princeton Invitational on Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21. The team is coming off of a second place finish at last weekend's Nittany Lion Invitational.

This will be the third tournament for the team this fall, marking the halfway point of their fall season.

"Princeton will be tough on their home course," said head coach Denise St. Pierre. "Columbia also has a lot of talent so they'll be tough. Rollins will probably be tough competition. They're a D-III school but they seem to be national champions almost every other year."

Penn State's lineup will feature Giulia Carando (Torino, Italy), Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia), Victoria Arena (Lansdale, Pa.), Lindsay Cullen (Allen, Texas) and Emily Riddle (St. Mary's, Pa.). Kelly Osborne (Ballwin, Mo.) will also be competing as an individual.

"We played really well last weekend and kept it together," said Cullen. "We're looking for another top finish and I think we have good chances."

The Princeton Invitational will be held at the Springdale Golf Club. There will be 16 teams competing, including Columbia, Rutgers, Dartmouth, Brown, Rollins, Georgetown and Harvard. The tournament will feature 18 holes of play on both days.
