UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's golf team are currently tied for ninth place following the first two rounds of the Lady Northern Invitational, which is their final tournament of the fall season.
Following the first round of the day, the Nittany Lions were tied for seventh place along with Ohio State, Northwestern and Iowa with a score of 312. The team's standing dropped after a second round score of 313, giving them a final score of 625.
Junior Lindsay Cullen (Allen, Texas) led the Lions with a final score of 75- 77 (152), finishing tied for 12th place. Sophomore Giulia Carando (Torino, Italy) and sophomore Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia) both followed closely behind final scores of 155 and 157, respectively.
The final round of the Lady Northern Invitational will take place on Sunday morning at 9 p.m. with a shotgun start.
