UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's golf team is currently in 11th place following the first two rounds of the Hawkeye Invitational.
During the first round of the day, the team posted a score of 325, followed by a solid second round score of 313 to end the day with a final of 638.
Ball State and Iowa dominated the first day, tying for first place with final scores of 612.
Sophomore Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia) led the Nittany Lions with a final score of 157 and tied for 20th place. Sophomore Giulia Carando (Torino, Italy) followed closely behind with a score of 158 and tied in 26th place.
The Hawkeye Invitational will conclude tomorrow following a third round. Tee off will be at 8 a.m.
