Penn State, which is riding its longest home win streak in 11 years, has won 13-straight non-conference home games dating to 2006 after an impressive 89-64 victory Thursday over Hartford in which the Lions tied a team record hitting 15 threes while shooting 60 percent from the floor.
Sophomore Talor Battle (Albany, N.Y.) has posted a pair of 20-point games already on the season and is third in the Big Ten in scoring averaging 19.3 ppg. Senior guard Stanley Pringle (Virginia Beach, Va.) is coming off a career-best 23 points and six threes on Thursday.
New Hampshire fell to Harvard 80-69 on Wednesday and are led by a backcourt of sophomore guard Tyrone Conley (16.0 ppg) and senior guard Tyrece Gibbs (15.0 ppg).
