University Park, Pa. - Junior Kevin Foley (Sommerville, N.J.) was named to the Mid-Season All-American Team by Golf Week, who announced their mid-season awards for the first half of the 2008-09 collegiate season Monday.
Foley's mid-season performances have brought him a first place finish at the 2008 Lehigh Invitational and a third place finish at the Olympia Fields Invitational. Foley is leading the Nittany Lions with a 71.57 fall 2008 average and a career average score of 73.10.
So far in 2008 Foley has been named an Honorable Mention All American and a GCAA All-American.
Foley is currently competing in the first round of the Western Refinining College All-American Golf Classic in El Paso, Texas.
