LANTANA, Fla. - Penn State pounded Lehigh for 20 hits in a 15-5 victory on Sunday in baseball action at the Palm Beach Challenge in Lantana, Fla.

The Nittany Lions jumped to an eight-run lead in the first three innings, and Scott Kelley allowed one run in seven innings pitched to garner his second victory of the season.

Cory Wine tied career highs with four hits and five RBIs. Wine was a triple away from a cycle and doubled twice during the game. The senior first baseman from Stillwater, Okla. accumulated nine total bases and, along with Louie Picconi, led the team with three runs.

Blake Lynd earned his first three-hit performance this season. Lynd singled in each of the first three innings from the lead-off spot.

Rick Marlin tallied his first homerun of the season with a two-run jack to left field. Marlin had two hits, runs and RBIs, as well as a stolen base.

Grant Youngblood went two-for-two to pick up his batting average to a team-high .465. Youngblood had two RBIs, a run and a stolen base.

In a losing start for the Mountain Hawks, Ken Longernecker allowed five earned runs on five hits, while striking out two batters.

Drew Irsfeld, who was sidelined with Tommy John surgery last year, made his first pitching appearance in three years by forcing Lehigh to three up-three down in the eighth.
