Women's Golf Completes First Day of Big Tens

UNIVERSITY PARK - The Penn State women's golf team completed the first two rounds of the Big Ten Championships today. The team is currently tied for tenth place with a score of 650.

Junior Lindsay Cullen (Allen, Texas) led the team with scores of 78 in each round for a total score of 156. She is currently tied for tenth place, individually. Sophomore Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia) had scores of 84- 77 for a total score of 161, and is tied for 23rd place. Junior Katherine Murphy (Portsmouth, R.I.) was close behind with scores of 83- 83 (166) and is tied for 45th place. Sophomore Giulia Carando (Torino, Italy) is currently in 61st place with a score of 84- 88 (172). Freshman Emily Riddle (St. Mary's, Pa.) is right behind in 62nd place with a score of 89- 84 (173).

Purdue currently leads in the tournament with a score of 609. Ohio State and Michigan State round out the top three with 627 and 629, respectively.

The third round of the tournament will begin on Saturday, April 25, at 9 a.m. The tournament will complete with a fourth round on Sunday, April 26, beginning at 8 a.m.
