UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State women's golf team is currently in 11th place after the third round of the Big Ten Championships. Purdue is hosting the Big Ten tournament.
Junior Lindsay Cullen (Allen, Texas) continued to lead the Nittany Lions during the third round with scores of 78- 78- 79 (235), tied for ninth place. Sophomore Brianna Malcolmson (Murwillumbah, Australia) is tied for 40th place with scores of 84- 77- 86 (247). Sophomore Victoria Arena (Lansdale, Pa.) is current tied for 52nd with scores of 87- 83-83 (253). Junior Katherine Murphy is close behind, tied for 58th with scores of 83- 83- 90 (256). Sophomore Giulia Carando (Torino, Italy) and freshman Emily Riddle (St. Mary's, Pa.) round out the team, tied for 63rd with final scores of 261.
Purdue leads the tournament with a score of 909. Michigan State is currently in second place with a score of 945, while Ohio State rounds out the top three with a score of 949.
The final round of the Big Ten Championships will begin with tee times at 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 26.
