STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - The Penn State Wrestling Club will once again host socials again this season, with the events being changed to pre-dual socials instead of post-dual events. Each event will begin 90 minutes prior to start time and last for one hour.
The first event will take place this Thursday, prior to the intrasquad dual. The event begins at 5:30 p.m. and ends at 6:30 p.m. and, like most other events, will take place behind the south bleachers. Thursday's social is open to the general public and is a chance for non-club members to meet the many outstanding members of the Club.
All other events are for club members only this year, including the first full social event on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 10:30 a.m. Club members will need to show their membership card to get into all other socials. The lone exception will be on Sunday, Feb. 7, prior to the Michigan dual. The Club will be hosting a pre-dual breakfast at the Nittany Lion Inn that morning.
The Penn State Wrestling Club has long been one of the driving forces behind Penn State's outstanding fan base. For more information on what the PSWC is, does and how to join, visit the Club's website at www.pennstatewrestlingclub.org.
