Nittany Lion Hotline To Air on Different Days Next Two Weeks

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa., - The Penn State Sports Network's Nittany Lion Hotline Presented by Sinus Buster Nasal Spray will air on different nights the next two weeks.

The program will air this week on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 6:05 p.m. due to two Penn State basketball broadcasts on Thursday. Next week's program will air on Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 6:05 p.m. due to the Thanksgiving holiday.

Nittany Lion Hotline will return to its usual Thursday, 6:05 p.m. airtime on December 3.

The one hour call-in program airs on 40 stations in four states every Thursday from late August through mid-March. Coach Joe Paterno and members of his team are guests on the program during the football season. The basketball season features Nittany Lion coach Ed DeChellis and members of his squad.

Fans can call 1-800-52-LIONS (525-4667) to ask questions of the coaches and student-athletes.

Steve Jones, the radio play-by-play voice of the Nittany Lion football and basketball teams, is host of The Nittany Lion Hotline Presented by Sinus Buster Nasal Spray. Jeff Tarman is the producer of the show, which is a presentation of Penn State Sports Properties, a property of Learfield Sports.

In addition to the 40 stations carrying the program, Nittany Lion Hotline and all Penn State football and basketball broadcasts can be heard on the 60-station Penn State Sports Network and www.GoPSUsports.com, the official website of Penn State Athletics. In order to listen to the streamed Hotline broadcast on GoPSUsports.com, listeners will need to subscribe to Penn State All-Access on the front page of the website.

Nittany Lion Hotline Presented by Sinus Buster Nasal Spray can be heard on stations throughout Pennsylvania as well as New York City and northern New Jersey, Youngstown, Ohio and Hagerstown, Md.

The Penn State Sports Network will have coverage of five basketball games and the Nittany Lion football team's regular season finale this week. The Nittany Lion Basketball team will begin play in the eight-team Charleston Classic on Thursday, playing UNC-Wilmington at 4:00 p.m. (3:30 airtime). At 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, the Lady Lion Basketball team visits Bucknell. On Saturday, the football team visits Michigan State, with coverage starting at 2:00 p.m on the Penn State Sports Network and kickoff at 3:30 in East Lansing.
