STATE COLLEGE, Pa. - Penn State fencing is ranked first for both the men and women's teams in the release of the first edition USFCA College Fencing Coaches' Poll this season. The team has maintained this ranking since they were ranked #1 in the 2009 USFCA Poll.
The fencers will look to back up the top ranking this Saturday, Jan. 23 when they host the next major dual meet in Penn State's White Building. UNC, John Hopkins, Temple, Drew, Haverford and sixth-ranked Penn will all be competing at the dual.
