No. 15 Women's Gymnastics Travels to Pittsburgh

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The No. 15 Penn State women's gymnastics travels to Pittsburgh on Saturday, Feb. 13 to take on the Panthers. Meet action is set to begin at 7 p.m. in Fitzgerald Field House.

The Series: Penn State vs. Pittsburgh
The Nittany Lions are 41-2 all-time against the Panthers. Pittsburgh is Penn State's second most common opponent behind only Ohio State. Last season, the Nittany Lions hosted Pittsburgh at Rec Hall and won 194.800-191.675. The Panthers' last win was in 2004 when Pitt won 196.350-195.800.

What's Next?
The Nittany Lions return home on Feb. 20 to host West Virginia. It will be a double dual with the Penn State men's gymnastics team who is hosting Illinois.

Smith Receives Ann Carr Award
Senior Rosie Smith received the Ann Carr award after the Feb. 6 meet. Smith finished third on vault with a 9.825 and made her first appearance on floor with an exhibition routine since her 2009 season-ending injury.

Personett Earns 12th GOW Honor
Personett led the Nittany Lions to a 196.425-196.275 victory against No. 23 Illinois to earn Big Ten GOW accolades. She tied her career-high score in the all-around with a 39.600 to take top honors. Personett finished first on beam with a career-high score of 9.950 and in floor with a season-high 9.925. She has won floor in all five meets this season. Personett finished second on vault with a 9.850 and placed third on bars with a 9.875.
