UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions (16-10, 8-8) will celebrate Senior Night with a crucial Big Ten battle against Wisconsin (19-8, 9-7) on Thursday night at 7 p.m., in the Bryce Jordan Center. Four Lady Lion seniors, Nicole Arcidiacono, Tyra Grant, Meredith Monroe and Meggan Quinn will be honored before the game. Thursday's game has Big Ten Tournament implications, as a Lady Lion victory would vault Penn State into a tie with the Badgers for fourth place. The game can be heard on the Penn State Sports Network or can be viewed online at www.BigTenNetwork.com for $2.99.

GIVEAWAY/PROMOTION: The first 1,000 fans will receive a Tyra Grant figurine. Thursday is also Penn State Faculty/Staff night. All Penn State faculty and staff members can purchase a ticket for $5.

RADIO/WEB/TV: The game is on the Penn State Sports Network with Jerry Fisher and Kellie Goodman calling the action. The audio feed is available at www.GoPSUsports.com. The contest will also be available on BigTenNetwork.com via a live video stream for $2.99. The game will be rebroadcast as a Student U production on the Big Ten Network on Fri., Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT: Despite losing a late lead, the Lady Lions came out strong in overtime, scoring the first eight points of the extra frame, on the way to a 71-65 win over Michigan Jan. 18. The Lions used solid defense, holding Michigan to 28.4% from the field and forcing 18 turnovers to snap their six-game losing streak. Senior Tyra Grant just missed out on her second career double-double with 25 points and nine rebounds. Freshman Marisa Wolfe had a career night with personal bests of 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting and six rebounds to go along with a blocked shot.

SCOUTING WISCONSIN: The Badgers are tied for third in the Big Ten with a 19-8 overall record and a 9-7 mark in Big Ten play. Alyssa Karel leads Wisconsin with a 14.3 scoring average. She has also accounted for a team-best 23 blocks and 42 steals this year. Tara Steinbauer is second on the team in scoring (8.8) and leads the squad in rebounding at a 6.5 clip. Rae Lin D'Alie is solid at the point for the Badgers with an 8.0 scoring mark and 3.3 assist average.

ALL-TIME VS. THE BADGERS: The Lady Lions are 25-8 all-time against the Badgers, including a 15-1 mark at home. Penn State earned a 54-43 win over Wisconsin on Jan. 21 to snap a three-game losing skid in Madison. Tyra Grant paced the Lions with 14 points, while Julia Trogele added 13 tallies. Penn State has not swept the regular-season series against the Badgers since 2005.

LAST TIME VS. UW: After being shutout in the first half, senior Tyra Grant scored 14 second-half points to push the Lady Lions to a 54-43 victory over Wisconsin on Jan. 21. The win snaps a three-game losing streak for the Lady Lions in the Kohl Center and gives Coquese Washington a career-high 14 wins. Grant filled up the stat sheet with 14 points, five rebounds, one block and two steals. Junior Julia Trogele added 13 points, five rebounds and three assists, while freshman Alex Bentley added 12 points and three helpers to round out the double-digit scorers for Penn State.

GRANT CRACKS SEASON TOP 25: Senior guard Tyra Grant broke into Penn State's single-season scoring chart for the second time in her career with 25 tallies against Michigan on Feb. 18. Grant is currently 25th on the single-season list with 498 points, passing Lisa Faloon (496; 1986-87). Grant needs four points to tie Tanisha Wright (2003-04) for 24th spot. Grant is also ninth on Penn State's single-season scoring list with 567 in the 2008-09 season.

WIN MARKS: The Lady Lions' 16 overall wins and eight conference wins are the most by a Penn State team since the 2004-05 campaign. The 2004-05 squad was 19-11 overall and 13-3 in Big Ten play.

WOLFE IS WILD FOR BIG TEN HONOR: Freshman forward Marisa Wolfe turned in the best performance of her young career against Michigan on Feb. 18 and was honored by the conference office as the Feb. 22 Big Ten Freshman of the Week. The rookie set career highs with 13 points and six rebounds off the bench. Wolfe was 5-for-7 from the field, both of which were personal bests. Her previous career high was 10 points at Northwestern (1/3/10) and five rebounds, which she accumulated on three occasions this year.

EXTRA TIME: The Lady Lions played their fourth overtime game of the season in a 71-65 win over Michigan on Feb. 18. It was the third overtime win for the Lady Lions this season, marking the first time since the 1997-98 campaign that Penn State has won three games in extra time. The Michigan game also marked the first time in school history that the Lady Lions have played four overtime games in a season. The Lady Lions earned a 77-71 win over Indiana on Jan. 10 and the 77-73 victory over Iowa on Dec. 28, but dropped an 80-76 decision against Purdue on Jan. 28.

The Lady Lions travel to Indiana for the regular-season finale on Sunday at 4 p.m. The game can be seen live on the Big Ten Network with Tracy Warren and Theresa Grentz calling the action.

The 2010 WBCA Pink Zone at Penn State took place on Sunday, Jan. 24 when the Lady Lions take on Illinois in the Bryce Jordan Center. The first three Pink Zone events have raised more than $80,000 for breast cancer awareness. This year's fundraising efforts will benefit Mount Nittany Medical Center, Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute, Pennsylvania Breast Cancer Coalition and the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
