No. 14 Women's Gymnastics Heads to Ohio State

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The No. 14 Penn State women's gymnastics team travels to Columbus, Ohio on Saturday to take on the Buckeyes. The Penn State men's gymnastics team joins the women for a double dual with the Buckeyes. Action set to begin at 4 p.m. in Ohio State's St. John Arena.

The Series: Penn State vs. Ohio State
The Nittany Lions are 39-16-1 all-time against the Buckeyes. The teams first met in 1965 and met twice in 2009. During the 2009 regular season, the Nittany Lions hosted the Buckeyes and Alabama in a tri-meet. Penn State won with a score of 196.650 to OSU's 196.050. The squads met a second time at the Big Ten Championships. PSU took third with a 196.525, while Ohio State placed fifth with a 195.900. The Buckeyes last won in 2008 at home by a score of 194.250-193.650.

What's Next?
The Nittany Lions return home to host Bridgeport, Maryland and Michigan in a quad meet on March 7. Meet action is set for 2 p.m.

Personett Earns Fifth GOW Award
Senior Brandi Personett guided the Nittany Lions to a 195.950-194.925 win against WVU on Feb. 20. Personett scored a personal-best 39.700 in the all-around to take top honors and took home titles in three events. The Katy, Texas native won vault (9.950), beam (9.925) and floor (9.950). She also finished second on bars with a 9.875.
