Softball Takes On Central Michigan and Saint Joseph's on Tuesday and Wednesday

CLEARWATER, Fla.-- Coming off a thrilling 4-2 ten-inning comeback win over South Florida, the Penn State softball team (12-6) takes on Central Michigan Tuesday in the first of two mid-week games. PSU and CMU will face off at Eddie C. Moore Complex Field No. 2 at 6 p.m. before taking on Saint Joseph's at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Note field change from No. 8 to No. 2 for Tuesday vs. CMU

Penn State looks to string two in a row against Central Michigan (3-6) after defeating the Chippewas, 3-1, on Friday to open play in the USF Under Armour Invitational. CMU went 2-3 in the Invitational, winning 3-2 on Sunday over Radford.

The Nittany Lions will then take on an old Atlantic 10 foe in Saint Joseph's. The Hawks are currently 6-3 heading into today's game against South Florida. SJU beat Florida Gulf Coast by a score of 4-0 on Sunday to capture its fourth win in five tries. Penn State is 19-0 all-time against Saint Joseph's.
