UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Nittany Lion softball head coach Robin Petrini will make a guest appearance on the Sports Central show hosted by Cory Giger on Monday at 4:50 p.m. Sports Central is broadcast on ESPN Radio 1450 AM in State College and 1430 AM in Altoona.
Petrini, in her 14th year as the winningest coach in Penn State softball history with 420 wins, will make her first appearance on the show with Giger, Penn State football beat writer for the Altoona Curve. The spot, which will be live at 4:50 p.m., will be played through the Centre County and Blair County region.
Penn State is 25-11 this season and sitting in fourth place in the Big Ten with a 4-2 record in conference play after a series sweep at Wisconsin this weekend.
The Nittany Lions host a pair of two-game Big Ten series this week, a doubleheader vs. Michigan State on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and single games against No. 20 Illinois on Saturday (2:00 p.m.) and Sunday (1:00 p.m.). Both Michigan State games and the first Illinois game will be live on 1390 AM WRSC and GoPSUsports.com All-Access for free.
