UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa.; - The Nittany Lion Club will host its annual Blue-White Event at the Bryce Jordan Center prior to the Blue-White Game presented by AAA on Saturday, April 24. The breakfast features special guests head coach Joe Paterno and the 2010 football senior class.
Doors for the Nittany Lion Club Blue-White Event will open at 9:00 a.m. and the program will begin at 10:30 a.m. This year's event will utilize a town hall set up with open seating. The arena floor seating will be first-come, first-served.
Tickets for the event are $20 and are on sale. To purchase tickets for the Nittany Lion Club Blue-White Event, call 814-865-5555, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.
The event also features a continental breakfast, photos with the Nittany Lion and cheerleaders, the opportunity to talk with coaches and student-athletes from several sports and a "Back the Lions" button booth. Nittany Lion Club merchandise will also be available (cash or check only).
Activities for Blue-White Weekend presented by AAA will begin Friday, April 23 at 6:00 p.m. outside Beaver Stadium with a carnival and food vendors. Additional events will take place on Saturday, including a pre-game parade of high school bands that will perform before and during the game. On gameday, the popular autograph session with the squad members will begin at 12:30 p.m. inside the stadium, with kickoff at 2:00 p.m.
The Blue-White Game will air on ESPN2, the Penn State Sports Network and www.GoPSUsports.com.
