Men's Soccer Head Coach Bob Warming to be Interviewed on ESPN Radio's Sports Central Show on Tuesday

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State head men's soccer coach Bob Warming will join host Cory Giger on ESPN Radio's Sports Central show on Tuesday afternoon to discuss his new position and the Nittany Lion program. The interview is scheduled for approximately 4:50 p.m. and can heard on 1450 AM in State College and 1430 AM in Altoona.

Warming, whose career spans 32 distinguished years, was introduced as the 11th coach in Penn State men's soccer history on May 24. He came to Happy Valley after 14 years at Creighton University, served where he led the Bluejays to 190 victories, seven Missouri Valley Conference regular season and tournament championships, 11 NCAA Championship appearances, and to the 2002 College Cup. With 383 career victories, Warming ranks sixth among active Division I head coaches and 15th in Division I history.

Penn State returns 17 letterwinners and nine starters, including four All-Big Ten performers and 2009 team leaders in goals and assists, from a squad that won 12 games, advanced to the Big Ten Tournament title game, and earned a berth in the NCAA Championship last season. The Nittany Lions will make their first appearance under Warming on Sat., Aug. 21 when they host Hartwick in a 3 p.m. exhibition match. Penn State will open the 2010 regular season on Fri. Sept. 3 with a 5 p.m. contest against Buffalo at Ohio State's Wolstein Classic in Columbus.
