Each week throughout the year, www.GoPSUsports.com, will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats. Highlights from week three of the 2010 season include a three-sack performance by Kansas City linebacker Tamba Hali, a productive day for Carolina's Ed Johnson, Aaron Maybin's first NFL start, and Andrew Quarless' professional debut.

Anthony Adams (1999-02), DT, Chicago Bears
Chicago Bears 20, Green Bay Packers 17
Adams started at nose tackle for the third straight game, totaling one tackle and one quarterback hit.

Jay Alford (2003-06), DT, Oakland Raiders
Arizona Cardinals 24, Oakland Raiders 23
Alford saw time as a reserve defensive lineman, recording one tackle for a two-yard loss.

Navorro Bowman (2007-09), LB, San Francisco 49ers

For the second consecutive week, Bowman played a major role in the 49ers' defensive efforts, making four tackles (3 solo).

A fixture on the Cardinals' offensive line for the past three years, Brown started his 44th consecutive regular season game at right tackle for the Cardinals on Sunday.

The longest active NFL tenured Nittany Lion, in his 17th professional season, Collins served as the No. 2 quarterback for the Titans but did not see any action in the Titans convincing victory over the Giants.

Connor started his third consecutive game at middle linebacker for the Panthers, totaling four tackles, two of them unassisted. He also registered two quarterback hits.

John Gilmore (1999-01), TE, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Gilmore started his first game of the season but did not record any catches in the Buccaneers' loss to the Steelers.

Robbie Gould (2001-04), K, Chicago Bears

Gould connected on two of this three field attempts, including a 19-yard game winner as time expired, and was 2-for-2 on PATs.

Tamba Hali (2002-05), LB, Kansas City Chiefs

Hali had a career game in the Chiefs' win over the 49ers, registering three sacks and forcing a fumble to help Kansas City remain undefeated for the season.

Hull tore his anterior cruciate ligament during practice on Sept. 15. He was placed on injured reserve and will miss the rest of his rookie season.

Johnson earned his first start of the season but did not have a catch in the Lions' loss.

Kennedy subbed in as part of the Vikings' defensive line rotation, registering three tackles, including two solos.

Jared Odrick (2006-09), DT, Miami Dolphins

Odrick fractured his fibula after earning his first NFL start in week one. He did not practice last week but is not expected to miss significant time.

After seeing playing time in three games as a rookie for New England, Ohrnberger, a fourth round choice in 2009, is currently on the Patriots' practice squad.

Posluszny has missed the last two games with a minor knee sprain. He is expected to return to the line-up on Sunday against the Jets.
