Nittany Lions in the NFL - Week Seven

With 30 Nittany Lions on National Football League rosters, Penn State is well represented in the professional ranks. Each week throughout the year, www.GoPSUsports.com, will provide updates on the exploits of these former Nittany Lion greats. Highlights from week seven of the 2010 season include Tennessee's Kerry Collins' three-touchdown performance and Kareem Mackenzie and the New York Giants offense posting nearly 500 yards and 41 points in a key division win. In other news, Jeremy Kapinos was signed by the Indianapolis Colts and Jared Odrick's rookie season with the Miami Dolphins came to an end when he was placed on injured reserve with a foot injury.

Anthony Adams (1999-02), DT, Chicago Bears

Adams started at nose tackle for Chicago, making four tackles, including one for a loss.

Bowman saw playing time on defense and on special teams, totaling three tackles.

Brown helped paved the way as running backs Tim Hightower and Beanie Wells combined for 113 yards rushing and one touchdown, but the Cardinals' struggles in the passing game continued, as they threw for just 132 yards.

Butler continues to make an impact on the Seattle offense, catching three passes for 41 yards in the divisional win over Arizona. Penn State's all-time leading receiver ranks third on the team in receptions (15) and receiving yards (171) and first in touchdowns (2).

The longest active NFL tenured Nittany Lion, in his 16th professional season, Collins started at quarterback, completing 17-of-31 passes for 276 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions despite playing with a torn tendon in a finger on his throwing hand.

Connor started at middle linebacker, making one tackle for a loss.

Hali continued his standout season in Kansas City's win over Jacksonville. Starting at outside linebacker, he recorded three tackles, including two for a loss, and three quarterback hits.

Hull tore his anterior cruciate ligament during practice on Sept. 15. He was placed on injured reserve and will miss the rest of his rookie season.
