Nittany Lion Fencers Look to Continue Success This Weekend

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Penn State men's and women's fencing teams will be back in action this weekend after strong performances at last weekends NAC tournament. The Nittany Lions will travel to Fairfield, Connecticut to take on fencers from Harvard, NYU, Princeton, UNC and host school Sacred Heart. Action will take place Sunday, Dec.5, starting at 10 a.m.

The Nittany Lions have come out strong this season on their quest to clinch a third consecutive national title. Freshmen Jeremy Goldstein and Anthony Green have proven to be powerful new additions to the men's team. Goldstein turned in a Top Ten finish in the men's foil at last weekends competition with Green finishing in the top twenty for men's epee. Freshman Kylei McGill- Patterson has shown a strong presence on the women's team, capturing tenth in the women's foil.

The final roster for the Nittany Lions competing this weekend will be decided later this week.
