UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State men's swimming & diving team will take part in a two-day quad meet featuring host No. 13 Michigan, No. 11 Ohio State and Northwestern. Competition begins Friday evening at 5 p.m. and will reconvene on Saturday at 11 a.m. Live results will be available on MGoBlue.com.
Penn State (3-4) coming off a third-straight dual meet win, looks to continue its success against Big Ten competition. Last weekend, the Nittany Lions easily downed St. Bonaventure 141-96.
Ohio State enters the meet as the highest ranked opponent PSU has faced all year. At 7-0, the Buckeyes captured a 165-123 win over Michigan State last Saturday. Michigan is 4-2-1 this season following a 134.5-108.5 win over then No. 21 Purdue on Jan. 16. Northwestern (7-4) has gone winless in its last two meets, dropping a 160-140 decision against Notre Dame (Jan. 12) and a 156-142 dual at No. 24 Iowa.
