UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The No. 18 Penn State women's gymnastics team is back in action at North Carolina's Carmichael Arena on Friday, Feb. 11. Action is set to begin at 7 p.m.
The Series: Penn State vs. North Carolina
The Nittany Lions are 6-0 all-time against North Carolina. The squads last met in 2009 at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championships in Raleigh, N.C. Penn State finished second with a score of 195.800 to advance to the NCAA National Championships for the first time since 2005. Georgia won the regional with a 197.700, while North Carolina took fifth with a 194.125.
What's Next?
The squad heads to Maryland for a 7 p.m. quad meet with Rutgers and William & Mary on Feb. 18. The Nittany Lions return to Rec Hall for two straight weekends on Feb. 26 when they host Ohio State at 1 p.m. The meet will be broadcast live on the Big Ten Network and is a double dual with the Nittany Lion men's team. Penn State remains at home to host N.C. State and Maryland on Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m.
