NLC POINTS
Nittany Lion Club points are a true reflection of the generous and loyal support of individual members to support our student-athletes. Priority status is enjoyed by NLC members for the purpose of procuring football, men's basketball and women's basketball tickets and seating. Members are given first priority towards ticketing based on their point totals.
Points are assigned as follows:
1 - point for each $50 contributed since becoming a member
2 - points for each year of NLC membership
10 - points for Penn State alumni (maximum of 10 per membership; one time only)
20 - points for lifetime members of the Alumni Association (one time only)
10 - points for lettermen in a varsity sport at the University Park campus (one time only).
RENEWAL NOTES
- To receive the early incentive your 2012 NLC gift must reflect the minimum for 2011 tickets and parking.
- Interested in relocating your current seats? This spring ALL NLC members will have the option to relocate by choosing their own seats using the online seat selection process. Specific seat selection is based on NLC points and seat availability.
- Adding/Reducing tickets and/or Parking for 2012? CLICK HERE to complete the Add/Release of Football Season Tickets or Parking form.
- Donation/Releasing Tickets: Once this form is received by the NLC you can recalculate your minimum gift based on tickets and parking to receive the corresponding NLC incentives. CLICK HERE to utilize the online calculator.
- Donation/Adding Tickets: By selecting to add tickets, ticket selection information will be communicated to you in the spring of 2012. In the meantime, please make at minimum your 2011 NLC gift amount by Feb. 1, 2012 to be eligible for additional ticket selection. Any additional donation needed for the addition of tickets will be required at the time of selection.
- Reminder: Nittany Lion Club gifts are non-refundable.
2012 NLC TIMELINE
July 1, 2011 -- 2012 Fiscal year begins (July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012)
Nov. 1, 2011 -- Last day to qualify for 2012 NLC Early Renewal Bonus Points
Feb. 1, 2012 -- NLC donation deadline to renew and secure 2012 football tickets
March 1, 2012 -- The opportunity for NLC members to relocate your current seats
May 1, 2012 -- Season football ticket renewal deadline
IMPORTANT FACTS
- Everyone is now required to make an annual per seat donation to purchase a season ticket
- 53 percent of the seats sold to the public in Beaver Stadium remain at the minimum donation level of $100 per seat.
- The NLC provides over $12 million annually in financial support for scholarship aid and program support.

- Improved drainage system throughout the stadium (completed)

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Penn State Athletics thanks you, our loyal Nittany Lion Club members and season ticket holders, for your patience, cooperation and continued support through the past two years of transition that came with the introduction of STEP (Seat Transfer and Equity Program).
We certainly understand that change is not easy, especially when it involves a financial, personal and emotional commitment, which Penn State Nittany Lion football certainly does. Your commitment and recognition of our Penn State student-athletes' energy and dedication makes us all Penn State Proud.
With STEP now fully implemented, we now are prepared to enthusiastically offer all NLC members the opportunity to enhance their Penn State football experience. By utilizing our Beaver Stadium Virtual Venue and online seat selection process, which many of you already have taken advantage of, NLC members now can better control the annual selection of their own seats, based on availability.
During this transition, the Nittany Lion Club's primary focus has been squarely on our members and season ticket holders. Our goal has been to provide each of you an opportunity to secure your original seats or relocate your seat to the specific zone (Blue, Red or Black) that best fits your needs.
With that now accomplished, we will turn our full attention to best servicing our membership and retaining current NLC membership and season ticket levels, while encouraging new members and maximizing season ticket sales. Your support this past year assured the best financial year in the history of the Nittany Lion Club, yet we still have approximately 5,000 season tickets available for the 2012 season. If you are not a current NLC member and/or don't have season football tickets, you can join the NLC now (www.nittanylionclub.com) to secure your priority to select seats this coming spring.
Nittany Lion Club members with football season tickets will be given the right to renew their 2011 seats, as well as relocating some or all of their season tickets. NLC members will be given the opportunity to purchase additional season and single game tickets, based on availability and in NLC priority point order. New NLC members also will be given the right to select seats electronically.
Also, current NLC members (2011 members) will enjoy the opportunity to earn NLC bonus points by taking advantage of the early NLC Incentive, which allows NLC members to make their annual seat donation (in full) by November 1 and receive 5 NLC bonus points. We also are encouraging Nittany Lion Club members to make their 2012 gift online, by going to www.nittanylionclub.com and receive an additional 3 NLC bonus points. By making your gift online you will receive an electronic confirmation of your gift immediately and can better manage your account.
