UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The Penn State swimming & diving teams are back in action this weekend, stepping away from dual meet season for the OSU Invitational beginning Friday in Columbus, Ohio. The three-day meet kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with preliminary swimming and concludes Sunday afternoon at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.
Penn State will face Ohio State, Purdue and Michigan State on both sides of competition while the Notre Dame women will compete in the three-day competition as well. The OSU Invitational represents the final meet of the 2011 calendar year. The Nittany Lions will travel to Naples, Fla. for their annual winter training trip and next face North Carolina on January 4 for swimming events, while the divers compete in the Bulldog Diving Shootout hosted by the University of Georgia.
