Penn State Sports Network to Air All Nittany Lion Football Games

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Steve Jones and Jack Ham will return to the broadcast booth for their 13th season calling Nittany Lion football games in 2012 for The Penn State Sports Network - Presented by Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem. Loren Crispell joins the broadcast team for his first season as sideline reporter and Roger Corey hosts the pre-game show.

Coach Bill O'Brien's Nittany Lions open the season Saturday, Sept. 1, hosting Ohio at 12:00 p.m. in Beaver Stadium. The Penn State Sports Network broadcast will begin at 10:30 a.m. this Saturday with the Dietz & Watson Tailgate Show.

All Penn State football games can be heard on more than 50 stations in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Ohio, as well as www.GoPSUsports.com.

The Dietz & Watson Tailgate Show begins 90 minutes before kickoff and is followed by the Chesapeake Energy Kickoff Show 30 minutes before the game. After the game, the Pennsylvania Propane Gas Association Postgame Show will conclude the network's coverage.

The Penn State Sports Network also airs all Penn State men's and women's basketball games, as well as the Penn State Football Show and Basketball Show every Thursday at 6:05 p.m. from late August through mid-March. The Penn State Football Show and Basketball Show originate from Damon's Grill in State College and fans are welcome to attend to ask questions of O'Brien and Nittany Lion basketball coach Patrick Chambers.
