Devan McCluskey won the singles final in the Lauren Nikolaus Flight at the Tribe Invitational Sunday, knocking off Amanda Lin of Harvard.

The freshman made a name for herself at the Tribe Invitational this weekend taking him the singles crown. Winning all three of her matches, McCluskey now has five singles wins this fall, good enough for second most on the team with Petra Januskova. She defeated Amanda Lin of Harvard after dropping the first set, winning, 5-7, 6-3, 10-5.

Carmen Sandor leads the Nittany Lions in singles wins this fall. Her victory today gives her six wins on the fall. In the consolation final of the Megan Moulton-Levy Flight, Sandor topped Amy He of Harvard winning 7-5, 6-3.

After winning both of her singles matches from the first two days, Sarah Henderson was beat in the final by Victoria Khanevskaya of Kansas, 6-2, 7-6(5).

All three freshman on the women's tennis team won their matches on the final day of play in Williamsburg. Katherine Whiteaway took down Marshall's Ellie Ball in three sets, 7-6(5), 4-6, 10-7, while Jacqueline Zuhse took down Srinidhi Raghavan of Penn, 4-6, 7-5, 10-8 in the back draw final of the Julie Shiflet Singles Flight.

The Nittany Lions next time out will be at Virginia Tech where they will play in the ITA Atlantic Regionals. Competition starts on Friday, Oct. 19 and concludes on Oct. 23 in Blacksburg.
