Penn State enters its clash with No. 9 Ohio State on a five-game winning streak as the top two teams in the Big Ten Leaders Division will battle on Saturday night at Beaver Stadium. Penn State and Ohio State are two of just three undefeated teams in Big Ten Conference play (Michigan) after the Buckeyes defeated Purdue in overtime, 29-22, and the Nittany Lions thumped Iowa on the road, 38-14, last weekend. Penn State is among 17 teams in the country with an active winning streak of five games or more, while the Buckeyes are one of 11 undefeated teams and the nation's only 8-0 team. Something will have to give on Saturday when the Big Ten's second-ranked scoring defense squares off with its second ranked scoring offense. Penn State is allowing just 15.7 points and 322 yards per contest, while the Buckeyes score 39.0 points and pile up almost 440 yards a game. Matt McGloin leads the Big Ten in passing with 255 ypg and Allen Robinson is tops in the conference with 47 receptions. Ohio State's Braxton Miller ranks second in total offense (292 ypg) and is tied for third with teammate Carlos Hyde in touchdowns scored in the Big Ten.
