USILA Poll | Nike/Inside Lacrosse Poll
UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State men's lacrosse is ranked 13th by the United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Coaches Poll and 12th by Nike/Inside Lacrosse Media Poll this week. The Nittany Lions were eighth in both rankings last week.
Following a heartbreaking 10-9 overtime defeat to Ohio State, who is ranked 11th by the coaches and eighth by the media, Penn State fell in the national rankings. Despite the recent fall, PSU is still ranked above its preseason 15th in both tabulations.
The Nittany Lions return to action on Saturday against Lehigh (19th USILA, 17th Nike/Inside Lacrosse) at 5 p.m. in Chester's PPL Park. The game is the nightcap of the Whitman's Sampler Independence Classic presented by Inside Lacrosse.
The tripleheader will be carried live on ESPN3.com with a tape delayed televised broadcast on Comcast SportsNet in Philadelphia. Tickets starting at $25 for the tripleheader are available on PhiladelphiaUnion.com or by calling 1-800-298-4200. Fans can also visit IndependenceClassic.com for more information.
