Penn State running back Bill Belton has been named the Iron Workers Union No. 3 "Ironman of the Game" for his performance at Ohio State. Belton rushed for 98 yards on 22 carries in the contest.
This week's Ironman has tallied at 92 carries for 467 yards so far this season. The Nittany Lion also has three kick returns for 66 yards. Belton has scored three touchdowns so far this season, including the winning touchdown in the 4OT contest against Michigan.
In the 2012 season, the former wide receiver started five games with a total of eight games played. He logged 263 rushing yards on 60 attempts his sophomore season. In his freshman season, Belton recorded 65 yards on 13 carries in eight games.
