Three Nittany Lions Earn WGCA Academic Honors

UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - Three members of the Penn State women's golf team were selected as Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars. Elyse Archambault (St-Jean-sur-Rich, Quebec), Ellen Ceresko (Jefferson Township, Pa.) and Grace Chung (Richmond Hill, Ontario) received the honor. To be selected, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 GPA. The trio of Nittany Lions were among 664 golfers chosen across Division I, II and III.

Archambault, a junior in finance, was named an All-American Scholar for the third straight year. She was also named Academic All-Big Ten earlier this spring.

A senior in marketing, Ceresko completed her career by receiving the honor all four years at Penn State. Ceresko earned Academic All-Big Ten honors this spring and was a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar in 2013.

Chung, a sophomore, is in the division of undergraduate studies and was named an All-American Scholar for the first time in her career. Chung also was named Academic All-Big Ten earlier this spring.
