Penn State Fans Respond to Seats For Soldiers Program on Military Appreciation Day

Oct. 16, 2014

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - Penn State fans are demonstrating their respect and appreciation for U.S. military personnel by purchasing nearly 5,000 tickets for the Temple game through the "Seats For Soldiers" program.

Military Appreciation Day will be celebrated when Temple visits Beaver Stadium on Nov. 15. The approximately 5,000 tickets purchased for the "Seats For Soldiers" program will be donated to active duty and veteran military personnel and their families. This year's donated ticket total thus far is twice the 2,500 total sold in 2013.

ROTC elite, active duty, Wounded Warriors and veterans will be honored for their service to our country throughout the Penn State-Temple game.
