UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions (2-7) host Rider (2-6) as part of a men's and women's doubleheader at the Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday. The Lady Lions will tip at approximately 2:30 p.m., following the conclusion of the Nittany Lions' game against George Washington. Tickets for the doubleheader are $5 general admission. The Kids Funzone will also be back in action on the concourse.
TICKET PROMOTIONS
- Sunday's game is part of a doubleheader and tickets are $5 general admission.
- The Nittany Lion basketball team faces George Washington at noon.
KIDS FUNZONE
- The Lady Lions will have their Kids Funzone on the concourse for Saturday's game.
- The Funzone will feature a face painter, airbrush tattoos, caricature artist and a create-a-station.
BAG POLICY
- No backpacks or duffle bags are permitted during varsity athletic events, other athletic and non-athletic events at this venue.
- No bags or purses larger than 8.5"x11"x6" will be permitted.
- All other bags will be searched upon entrance to the facility.

LAST TIME OUT
- The Lady Lions rallied late in the second half, but were unable to overcome the early deficit in a 62-57 loss at Hartford Hawks Wednesday.
- Junior Candice Agee was 8-for-13 from the field en route to 20 points for her second career 20-point game. Agee also pulled in eight rebounds in the game.
- Sophomore Sierra Moore also reached double figures with 10 points to along five assists and two steals.
- Sophomore Kaliyah Mitchell added nine points and seven rebounds, while freshman Lindsey Spann had five points with four assists and four rebounds. Spann's streak of eight consecutive games with double figures to start her college career was snapped.
SCOUTING RIDER
- The Broncs are 2-6 on the season with wins over Old Dominion and Long Island.
- Robin Perkins leads Rider with a 12.4 scoring average to go along with 3.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. She has led the Broncs in scoring in four of their eight games.
- Julia Duggan is closing in on averaging a double-double with 9.3 points and a team-best 9.1 rebounds per game.
- Emily Fazzini and Lashay Banks are tied for third on the team in scoring at a 6.4 per game clip.
ALL-TIME VERSUS THE BRONCS
- The Lady Lions won the only previous meeting with Rider, a 95-21 decision during the 2010-11 season.
- Penn State is 11-0 against current MAAC members.
- The last time the Lady Lions faced a MAAC opponent was the game against Rider in 2010.
LAST TIME VERSUS RU
- The Lady Lions shot 52.9 percent from the field and held Rider to just 15.4 percent from shooting in a dominant performance en route to a 95-21 victory over the Broncs on Nov. 14, 2010.
- The 21 tallies allowed are the seventh fewest in school history and the fewest tallies given up in since giving up 16 in a win over Dickinson on March 6, 1971.
- Zhaque Gray tallied 22 points on 8-of-11 shooting, including a 6-for-9 effort from three-point range, while Maggie Lucas came off of the bench for her first career 20-point game with 22 tallies on 9-of-13 shooting.
- Alex Bentley scored all 13 of her points in the second half to go along with six rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
AGEE POSTS 20 AGAIN
- Junior center Candice Agee hit the 20-point mark for the second time in her career with 20 tallies at Hartford on Dec. 10.
- Agee was 8-of-13 from the field and tied her career-high with four made free throws, which she set at Illinois on Feb. 20, 2013.
- She has three double-digit scoring performances in her career and two of those outings have been 20-point performances (21 vs. Seton Hall; 11/22).
- Agee also blocked one shot versus the Hawks, marking the eighth time this season she has blocked at least one shot in a game.
WALDNER MOVES UP BLOCKS CHART
- Senior center Tori Waldner moved into a tie for eighth place on Penn State's career blocks list with one rejection at Hartford on Dec. 10.
- Waldner has 102 career blocks to move into a tie with former teammate Talia East (102; 2011-14) for the eighth spot.
- Next up on the list for Waldner is Tina Henry, who had 140 blocks from 1990-93.
- She became the ninth player in school history to record 100 career blocks with one rejection against Liberty on Nov. 28.
- She is the third Lady Lion in the last three years to reach the 100-block mark, joining Nikki Greene (215; 2010-13) and Talia East (102; 2011-14).
SPANN'S SCORING STREAK
- Freshman guard Lindsey Spann saw her streak of eight consecutive games with double figures to collegiate career come to an end at Hartford on Dec. 10.
- Spann's streak of eight consecutive double-digit scoring performances to start a career is a feat that was not accomplished by Maggie Lucas nor Kelly Mazzante, Penn State's two all-time leading scorers.
- The only Penn State freshman to score in double figures every game of their freshman season was Susan Robinson, who had 28 games with 10 or more points during the 1988-89 season.
The 2014-15 Penn State Lady Lion Basketball season is presented by Kish Travel and Kish Insurance. The Lady Lions take a week-long break for exams and return to action to close out non-conference play against South Florida on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. It's a Subway Full Court 4 Pack game. Fans can get four tickets, one voucher for four 6" subs and four 21 oz. fountain drinks at any of the State College Subway locations for just $40.
Lady Lion Basketball single-game and season tickets are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Single-game tickets range from $10-17 for adults and seniors and $5-11 for youth (12 and younger). Season tickets are $105 for adults and $52 for youth (12 and under). Additionally, the Family Season Ticket package, which features two adult tickets and two youth tickets in the family section in section 114L, is $210. There is a $15 handling fee per order on season tickets.
The PNC Flex Books are $120 and give fans 12 vouchers, 10 that can be redeemed in any combination for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets throughout the year and two extra vouchers for the Nittany Lions' Coaches Vs. Cancer game and the Lady Lions' Pink Zone game. The Lady Lions also have a pair of mini-plans available this season with the B1G Deal and the Five for the 50th plans. The B1G Deal is a mini-plan that includes the nine Big Ten Conference home games. Tickets for the B1G Deal are $90 for adult sideline, $63 for youth sideline, $63 for adult baseline and $45 for youth baseline tickets. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Women's Athletics at Penn State, there is a Five for the 50th mini-plan. The plan features a ticket to the following games: South Florida (12/21), Illinois (1/4), Rutgers (1/10), Michigan State (2/11) and Ohio State (2/26). The package is $50 in honor of the 50th anniversary.
