UNIVERSITY PARK, PA. - The Penn State Lady Lions (1-6) return to the Bryce Jordan Center after a three-game road swing to host Wagner (0-6) on Sunday at 2 p.m. It's the Lady Lions' annual Toys for Tots game where fans that bring a new, unwrapped to donate to Toys for Tots will receive a $5 ticket. The Kids Funzone will also be back in action on the concourse.

TICKET PROMOTIONS

  • Fans that bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots will receive a $5 ticket.
  • The game is also the first of two Lion's List games. Penn State will donate a ticket for all students (8th grade and younger) who stand out at participating schools for positive achievements based on your teacher's specifications. Students should have received a letter at school, if they qualify.

    KIDS FUNZONE

  • The Lady Lions will have their Kids Funzone on the concourse for Saturday's game.
  • The Funzone will feature a face painter, caricature artist and a create-a-station.

    BAG POLICY

  • No backpacks or duffle bags are permitted during varsity athletic events, other athletic and non-athletic events at this venue.
  • No bags or purses larger than 8.5"x11"x6" will be permitted.
  • All other bags will be searched upon entrance to the facility.

    WEBSTREAM

  • There will be a webstream of the game available on BTN Plus for a fee.

  • The game is on the Penn State Sports Network and 1390 The Fanatic locally with Jerry Fisher and Julia Trogele calling the action.

    LAST TIME OUT

  • The Lady Lions struggled from the field, shooting just 27.8 percent and turned the ball over 20 times on the way to a 61-39 loss at #21/22 Syracuse in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge Thursday.
  • Freshman Lindsey Spann led the way for the Lady Lions with 11 points to go along with six assists.
  • It's her seventh-straight double-digit scoring performance to start her collegiate career.
  • Junior center Candice Agee continued her solid play with eight points, nine rebounds and two blocks.
  • The 39 points scored are the fewest for a Lady Lion team since scoring 39 points in a 71-39 loss at Wisconsin on Feb. 25, 2010.

    SCOUTING WAGNER

  • The Seahawks are 0-6 on the season, but have faced tough competition against Big Ten foes Maryland and Rutgers and Big East opponent St. John's.
  • Jasmine Nwajei is the do-everything sophomore guard that leads the squad in scoring (17.2), assists (3.5) and steals (1.7) to go along with 5.2 rebounds per outing.
  • Jordyn Peck is also averaging double figures at an 11.0 per game clip, while Lyndsay Rowe averages 7.7 points per game.
  • Ugo Nwaigwe leads the Seahawks in rebounding with a 6.2 average.

    ALL-TIME VERSUS THE SEAHAWKS

  • The Lady Lions won the only previous meeting with the Seahawks, a 103-42 decision on Dec. 18, 2011.
  • Penn State is 9-1 all-time against current Northeast Conference members.

    LAST TIME VERSUS WC

  • Behind 57 points in the first half, the Lady Lions earned a 103-42 win against Wagner on Dec. 18, 2011.
  • Four Lady Lions posted double-digit points to give Penn State an undefeated home non-conference record for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
  • Alex Bentley and Maggie Lucas led the Lady Lions with 23 points apiece.
  • Bentley also added five steals and two assists, while Lucas chipped in four rebounds and a steal.
  • Zhaque Gray posted 13 points with three helpers and Ariel Edwards rounded out Penn State's top scorers with 11 points to go along with six rebounds.
  • Tori Waldner pulled in 10 rebounds and three blocked shots.

    TORI GOOD WORKS

  • Senior Tori Waldner is among the nominees for the Allstate WBCA Good Works Team award.
  • This prestigious community service award recognizes a distinguished group of student-athletes who have demonstrated a commitment to enriching the lives of others and contributing to the greater good in their communities.
  • From the 93 WBCA nominees, a distinguished voting panel will select two 10-member teams comprised of five student-athletes from the NCAA® Division I level and five student-athletes from NCAA Divisions II, III and the NAIA.
  • The final roster of 20 award recipients will be unveiled in February.
  • Former Lady Lion Gizelle Studevent was a member of the inaugural Allstate WBCA Good Works team in 2013.

    SPANN'S SCORING STREAK

  • Freshman guard Lindsey Spann has reached double figures in the first seven games of her collegiate career and leads the team in scoring with a 13.4 average.
  • Spann's streak of seven consecutive double-digit scoring performances to start a career is a feat that was not accomplished by Maggie Lucas nor Kelly Mazzante, Penn State's two all-time leading scorers.

    The 2014-15 Penn State Lady Lion Basketball season is presented by Kish Travel and Kish Insurance. Penn State visits Hartford Wednesday at 7 p.m., before returning to the Bryce Jordan Center to host Rider on Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2:30 p.m. as part of a doubleheader with men's basketball. Tickets to the doubleheader are $5. The Nittany Lions will face George Washington at noon.

    Lady Lion Basketball single-game and season tickets are available by calling 1-800-NITTANY. Single-game tickets range from $10-17 for adults and seniors and $5-11 for youth (12 and younger). Season tickets are $105 for adults and $52 for youth (12 and under). Additionally, the Family Season Ticket package, which features two adult tickets and two youth tickets in the family section in section 114L, is $210. There is a $15 handling fee per order on season tickets.

    The PNC Flex Books are $120 and give fans 12 vouchers, 10 that can be redeemed in any combination for Nittany Lion and Lady Lion Basketball tickets throughout the year and two extra vouchers for the Nittany Lions' Coaches Vs. Cancer game and the Lady Lions' Pink Zone game. The Lady Lions also have a pair of mini-plans available this season with the B1G Deal and the Five for the 50th plans. The B1G Deal is a mini-plan that includes the nine Big Ten Conference home games. Tickets for the B1G Deal are $90 for adult sideline, $63 for youth sideline, $63 for adult baseline and $45 for youth baseline tickets. To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Women's Athletics at Penn State, there is a Five for the 50th mini-plan. The plan features a ticket to the following games: South Florida (12/21), Illinois (1/4), Rutgers (1/10), Michigan State (2/11) and Ohio State (2/26). The package is $50 in honor of the 50th anniversary.
